FiveM Server Hosting
Run your FiveM server on a VDS of your own: you install FXServer and your framework, and you decide which resources start on the server. Your Extreme VDS runs in Istanbul, and TRSHIELD DDoS protection is included at no extra cost, with a game-specific profile for FiveM.
Extreme packages for FiveM
On FiveM, your framework, your database and the resources you run decide the package size together. Look at the vCore count and memory on the cards side by side.

What you need before you start
FXServer, the FiveM server software, thrives on a multi-core x86-64 processor with high single-core clock speeds and fast NVMe storage. Our Extreme VDS packages combine an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X overclocked (OC) to 5.9 GHz, DDR5 6400 MHz RAM and Samsung 990 Pro Gen4 NVMe SSDs, giving script-heavy roleplay servers a strong foundation.
Cfx.re publishes FXServer builds—called artifacts—separately for Windows and Linux. To launch your server, you simply generate a free license key on the Cfx Portal and add it to your server configuration.
Whether you run standard GTA V or GTA V Enhanced server builds, you can download the artifact release you need onto your VDS and complete your setup through txAdmin.
Windows Server or Linux?
Both FXServer and its built-in management interface, txAdmin, run on Windows Server and Linux. Because many FiveM guides and ready-made roleplay packs (ESX, QBCore) are built with Windows in mind, Windows Server is a convenient choice if you prefer managing your server over Remote Desktop (RDP).
If you choose Windows Server, your VDS comes with a trial (evaluation) license and you license Windows separately from the package. Keep in mind that the Windows desktop environment uses some memory of its own when picking your package size.
If you are comfortable working over SSH and want to dedicate more of your RAM directly to FXServer and MariaDB, you can install a free Linux distribution such as Ubuntu or Debian instead.
Frameworks and the database
A framework provides the core roleplay foundation—economy, jobs, inventory and player systems—so your scripts share a common structure. You can deploy popular FiveM frameworks such as ESX, QBCore and Qbox directly on your VDS using txAdmin's built-in recipes. Because most scripts and resources are built for a specific framework, choose your framework before adding custom resources.
ESX, QBCore and Qbox store player records, inventories, jobs and vehicles in a MariaDB (MySQL) database. When setting up your server through txAdmin, you can run MariaDB right on the same VDS.
When MariaDB and FXServer share a VDS, they draw from the same vCores, memory and storage. As player and inventory records grow, Samsung 990 Pro Gen4 NVMe SSDs and high-speed DDR5 RAM keep database queries responsive.
Package size for your community
Because FXServer benefits from multi-core processors, start with a size that has more than one vCore rather than the smallest single-vCore package. Base later decisions on measurement, not guesswork: txAdmin shows the server's CPU and memory use and charts thread performance against the number of players online.
- Small community or test server
- For a server without a framework or with few resources, a server for your group of friends, or a development server where you try out scripts, you can start with one of the smaller packages.
- Mid-sized RP server
- If ESX or QBCore runs alongside MariaDB on the same VDS and you keep adding content such as vehicles, maps and clothing, look at the mid-range packages.
- Large community
- If you have raised your player limit with Element Club, run a large number of resources, or keep your Discord bot and website on the same machine, the larger packages leave more vCores and memory for all of it.
DDoS protection and the FiveM profile
A public FiveM server appears in the server list with its name and player count; that visibility can attract attacks as well as players. TRSHIELD has a game-specific profile for FiveM: players' connection requests are validated before they reach your server. The profile does not stop your server from appearing in the FiveM server list, and you need no extra allowlist setting for that.
This protection, with 12 Tbps of capacity, is included in every package. TRSHIELD guards against every known attack vector, and its development is ongoing.
Where do your players connect from?
Players on roleplay servers stay connected for long sessions, and delay shows immediately in moments like a car chase or a radio call. If most of your community connects from Turkey, having the server at Mars Istanbul Data Center shortens the distance data travels back and forth.
The Ping Test page measures your latency to our Istanbul servers from your browser, with nothing to install. The result reflects only your own connection, so ask a few players on your community's Discord server to measure too, from different cities and internet providers. Measuring in the evening, when your community is busiest, gets you closer to what players will actually experience.
Versions, restarts and resources
Because FXServer runs on your VDS, you decide which server version and which resources it uses, and when it restarts.
Server version
You decide when to move to a new FXServer artifact release, upgrading your live server once you have verified your scripts and resources.
Scheduled restarts
txAdmin restarts the server at the times you set and warns players in advance. If the server crashes or hangs, it restarts FXServer on its own.
Test server
Resources permitting, txAdmin server profiles let you run a second FXServer on the same VDS and try new resources there before adding them to the live server.
Custom scripts and assets
With full file access on your VDS, you can load custom MLO maps, vehicle packs and voice resources without restrictions while running your MariaDB database right alongside the server.
